'Psyfari is a wild place traveled to by many each year. The journey rekindles our primal bond by getting all "Noisy Chicken on the place" - getting on down and funky, in your own collaborative purple octopus suit sort of way.

Noisy Chicken are a Sydney based crew, energetic towards bringing people and chickens together, but not limiting to that. We invite everything and everyone to be encapsulated in our eggs. To create magical places and with the help from you, manifest vibrations. Shaping moments which transform us into the future- in a chicken spaceship.'

Just what is Psyfari Festival?

Psyfari could be best described as a 3 day costume party, with music, art, workshops, performances, and camping! Psyfari is family friendly, BYO, and often described as ‘truly wild’!

Tell us about the music.

With over 120 acts on the line up, the music is no easy thing to describe. The festival features non stop music across 3 stages, with everything from live bands playing reggae, funk, and blues, to marathon dnb sessions, acoustic acts, electroswing DJs, a whole range of bass music, and of course a stage dedicated to psytrance, which pulses throughout the weekend. We aim to showcase music that is both appealing to a wide audience but at the same time non-commercial, and relatively underground. Expect music you would very rarely hear on the radio, or in a club or pub.

Where is Psyfari held?

Psyfari is held in the amazing Capertee Valley, roughly 3 hours from Sydney. This stunning valley offers a truly breathtaking backdrop to the festival, with panoramic views in every direction! Add to this an epic range of art installations, décor, and mindblowing A/V production, the setting is truly world class.

What to bring?

Camping gear is essential, as are costumes! The festival is BYO (however no glass bottles allowed), and there is a range of food stalls present but you’re welcome to bring your own food. It’s important to remember camping gear, costumes, warm clothes, snacks, and toys for the kids too!
