Micro Theatre Festival | Curve Gallery, Vinyl Cafe, The Press Bookhouse | All weekend long

We know we've been banging on about this all week but the Micro Theatre Festival is very much one for the list! It is such an exciting new concept for Newcastle & a ridiculously enjoyable way to spend an hour of your evening! Get out there & be surprised!

Stoned Saint Moon | Maitland road, Islington | Saturday the 12th September

Hustle on down to ‘Stone Saint Moons’ Launch this Saturday and be the first to get the vibe. The latest addition to the Islington coo’ crew, this vintage clothing, furniture & homewares boutique has pieces from all over the world & local designers. Keep up to date with Stained Saint Moon on Instagram and Facebook, and support your local businesses. This one’s gonna be great!

Lennie Tranter & The Bagism Revelation + Dark Matters | The Stag & Hunter| Saturday 12th September

Saturday night is not meant to be spent with a lonely can of pumpkin soup. Saturday is meant to be spent dancing & houndin’ on with ‘Lennie Tranter And The Bagism Revelation’. Joined by the mysterious Dark Matters & the gorgeous Milli Casey, catch them at The Stag with their irresistible hook lines and dazzling melodies. Don’t miss this gig.

Newcastle Youth Orchestra: Symphonic Spectacular | Christ Church Cathedral | Saturday the 12th September | 7pm (Pre-concert talk)

Newcastle Youth Orchestra presents ‘Symphonic Spectacular’, featuring the talented Peter Guy. The programing set to showcase the Cathedral’s amazing pipe organ, will also feature new works composed by young local composers James Maher and Christopher Pantelidis. Newcastle Youth Orchestra initiative The Loft supports and provides opportunities for young composers. So come along and show your support too!

Lass is More | The Lass O'Gowrie Hotel | Sunday 13th September

Murray's Brewing Co presents Lass is More- the latest Sunday Dj session at The Lass O'Gowrie Hotel. Featuring the talents of local electro groovers, this afternoon sesh is the perfect way to wind out the weekend. We have been hearing so much buzz about Lass in More- awesome vibes, great tunes & wicked tasty beers! We reckon you should check it out too!

Impossible Market | The Edwards | Sunday 13th September Inspired by creative designs, the new ‘Impossible Market’ will be hosted at The Edwards. This unique & dynamic market brings the nightlife to your creative shopping experience. Beginning this Friday the 11th September, The Impossible Market will continue every second Sunday of the month. Live tunes included.

Art Bazar | Morpeth |Sunday 13th September

See the Hunter’s premier artisan and design marketplace in the flesh & experience what the creative community has to offer. Art Bazaar, presented by the Hunter Arts Network, hosts a range of stalls that have been specifically picked, so shoppers can pick from a vast array of different and local products!
