Signature | The University Gallery | Saturday 26th Sept

‘Signature’- a celebration of the University’s artist graduates will open this Saturday at the University Gallery.

In recognition of the importance of creativity in our cultural landscape, and in celebration of the University's 50th anniversary, the works of 50 alumni will display for the public to engage with and admire.

‘Signature’ will be running between the 23rd September and the 7th November.

Join the alumni artists for the exhibition opening on: Saturday 26 September from 2pm.

Next to Nothing: Art as Performance | The Lock Up | Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September

This weekend ‘The Lock Up’ is presenting a two-day generative performance and symposium event in partnership with the School of Creative Arts, University of Newcastle. Located at the ‘Lock Up Art and Cultural Centre’ between the 26th and 27th September in the heart of Newcastle, the Mall.

‘Next to Nothing: Art as Performance’ is a symposium will present a dynamic program of performance and talks by local, inter-state and international artists.

At the ‘Roald Dahl Festival’ you can admit how much you still love his stories. Everyone is welcome to the ‘Roald Dahl Festival’ at the Civic Theatre between the 25th and 26th September.
