The Central Coast Watercolour Society was formed in 1985 with the intention of exploring watercolour as the skilful use of translucent medium. The society offers an extensive library, supplies shop, workshops, exhibitions, plenty of social opportunities & much more. This Saturday 7th November the Central Coast Watercolour Society are hosting Plein-Air World Record Challenge. This huge event is an attempt at a world record for ‘The most people painting Plein Air by the lake on one day’. The Watercolour Society is calling for artists from the coast & beyond, spectators & others to become part of this word record attempt. All art media and levels of experience are welcome. Paper & brushes will be available but it is encouraged to bring your own equipment. {A beautiful day on the lake celebrating the exploration of watercolour painting & increasing awareness within the wider community} WHERE: Long Jetty Foreshore, Tuggerah Parade. Long Jetty WHEN: Saturday 7th November, 2015 FREE REGISTRATION: From 9am onwards. Able to register on the day. WHAT TO BRING: Watercolour paints/palette, 3 brush sizes, watercolour paper, lightweight support board, masking tape & a small water container. Optional: easel, stool/camp chair, hat, sunscreen & water.
